Citieffe was founded on building great expertise in the design and manufacturing of surgical instruments which were developed in collaboration with the surgeons of the nearby famous Istituti Ortopedici Rizzoli in Bologna and in particular upon commission of Professor Oscar Scaglietti (see his autographed portray below).

 Over the years, thanks to the collaboration of many surgeons, the company has developed important expertise in the design and manufacturing of implants for trauma and orthopedics.

The experience in the design and manufacturing of surgical instruments is an important base for the company in the development of systems that offer simple and effective instrumentation.
