The Sansone cup is indicated for reconstruction of the acetabulum in cases of insufficient bone stock. It allows great freedom of fixation thanks to the variable positioning of the 50◦ polar screw.

Indications
In cases of bone loss, either due to prosthetic mobilization or severe secondary morphological changes whether congenital or acquired. As an example in cases of:

Mobilization of the acetabulum with bone defect AIR: II, III and IV
Congenital hip dysplasia
Sequelae of pelvic trauma
Severe rheumatoid arthritis

Titanium cup
Titanium polar screw with hydroxyapatite coating(± 25 ◦ with respect to the axis of the cup)
Titanium peripheral screws are available in 9 sizes, 6 mm diameter and lengths from 20 to 60 mm
Security washer: increases stability of the polar locking screw in the cup
Inserts for the cup available in three versions: standard polyethylene, anti-subluxationpolyethylene 10◦ and Biolox DELTA® ceramic. The cup inserts can accommodate 28, 32 and 36 mm diameter heads
