History
Since 1962, Citieffe has been developing, manufacturing, and marketing medical devices for Orthopaedic Trauma. Specializing in internal and external fixation solutions for the treatment of fractures of the limbs and pelvis, as well as for bone reconstruction, the company offers complete systems supported by essential, safe, and intuitive instrument sets.
Founded as an independent company, Citieffe began its activity by producing surgical instruments on commission for the Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute. This collaboration enabled the company to acquire unique know-how and to establish an ongoing dialogue with the medical-scientific community—elements that have guided the expansion of its product portfolio over the years and the in-house control of the entire production cycle according to the highest quality standards.
Since 2014, Citieffe has been part of Medistream and, as of 2025, joins Poly Medicure Ltd.
Today, it is present in Europe, the USA, Latin America, and Asia through a network of subsidiaries and distributors.
